This ancient Azilal carpet displays a free, intense and deeply contemporary visual writing. On a light wool background, the color lines seem to advance like spontaneous strokes, between diamonds, vertical fragments and vibrant fields of pink, orange, blue, green, black and yellow. The composition does not seek a rigid symmetry: it breathes, it moves, it opens like a living painting where each form retains the energy of the hand that created it.
